Hayden's Christmas presents are waiting for him to open

When we got word that Hayden was coming home soon, we got to work getting the last few things ready for him. We spent Tuesday buying baby supplies, clearing out the crib (which had mysteriously filled with toys), wrapping his Christmas presents and cleaning the house. We were all ready for him to come home on Wed morning until we got a call saying that his biliruben levels had spiked and he would need to stay another day. We were disappointed, but took advantage of the extra day to rest and get lots of extra sleep.

Today his levels were checked at 6am and the lights were turned off. Then the levels were re-checked at 2pm and he was cleared to come home. We scrambled to find a sitter and headed to the hospital around 4pm. Check out was quick and after a short ride, we were home!! I'll let Hayden fill you in on the rest.
