Christmas Eve Pics

It's been a hectic and fun Christmas season. Today, the boys and their dad wore matching Christmas suits to church today while Melanie stayed at the hospital to be with baby Hayden. Sacrament Meeting was a musical program, and Grant went up front to sing "Silent Night" and "Away in a Manger". He doesn't even pretend to sing, but he makes a point of always standing in the very front row which is adorable. The boys were pretty good at church, and then we went to the Van Camps house for dinner. We had twice-baked potatoes, ham, rice pudding, and a bunch of other things. The boys mainly tried to eat just the sugar that coated the rice pudding, nothing more.

After dinner, we rushed home to open pajamas, and run through the Christmas traditions. We narrated the Christmas Story and read "Twas the Night Before Christmas". We also put out candy and Coke for Santa, and threw out "reindeer food" (ie oatmeal) for the reindeer to eat.

After the kids went down, Melanie and I took turns seeing baby Hayden. It's great to see him continue to improve. He's eating 40 cc of milk now, and although he is still under the bili lights, he is completely breathing on his own now. He still has an iv where he gets antibiotics twice a day. The doctors also say that we can have him home by the 28th at the soonest and the 31st or 1st probably at the latest.
