Well.... another major league curse has been broken. Last year the Red Sox won after 86 years of not winning the world series. This year the White Sox won after an 88 year drought. They haven't won the world series since 1917. To put things in perspective that was also the year that Lenin and the Communists formed the Soviet Union. Now that is pretty cool.
But after watching Letterman the other night, I think I've caught on to something fishy about these White Sox. Take a look at this picture....
What color are his socks? Are they white? You see, something fishy is definitely going on.
This world series was the most stress free to watch since we knew you didn't care if either team won! It's so nice when they are both underdogs! I will admit though, ye year the Diamondbacks won was pretty exciting!
