Blake

This blog has been a little girl-heavy lately, so an update on the boys is in order!

We'll start with Blake (the poor middle child never gets to be first!!):

As you can see, Blake is as mischievous as ever! He LOVES playing outside with his friends, Denise and Jose lately. They are both kindergarteners in our neighborhood that are in his class. He disappears for an hour or two to Denise's house a couple times a week. It helps that Denise's brothers are the same ages as Grant and Hayden. Hayden disappears to their house to play with Saul too! Anyway, back to Blake.
He's had a great year and moves on to 1st grade in the fall. He loves to read, tell jokes, boss everyone around, and be silly. He also has 4 loose teeth! He loves the Book of Mormon reader Travis reads to them each night and always remembers the stories from the night before.

Blake turned 6 on 4/29. He's been so much fun to have in our family. From his first day, he babbled and hasn't stopped talking since. He's conquered his communication challenges and is rocking his way through school. He is enjoying t-ball. In fact, when we realized his birthday fell on t-ball practice day, we decided to have an impromptu party at the end of practice.
We came armed with 2 dozen baseball themed cupcakes for the team and their siblings. After practice, everyone sang, ate, and enjoyed their goody bags.

Blake was happy to open his zhu zhu pet village! Have I mentioned how much our kids love the zhu zhu pets?
