Party Time!

Cake with polka dots...Blake loves eating polka dots off of cakes!

Well, Blake is the big three now. He had a great party last week with his friends Brayden and Ethan. We had a playgroup and finished it off with cake and ice cream. Blake loved his toys from all his grandparents and mom & dad and aunts & uncles. The funniest part of the party was blowing out the candle. As you can see, he couldn't help himself and was sneaking polka-dots off the cake while everyone sang to him. Then when he tried to blow out the candle, he kept missing. Eventually all the kids at the party were blowing at the candle and after 8 or 9 tries, it went out.

Blake was so excited to have his friends over. They ran around and laughed and played the whole time. He and Grant also had fun playing with toys all afternoon when the party was over. His cake was a nightmare for me, the frosting was too soft and I had to scrape part of it off and try to cover my mistake. But it tasted great in the end and it was delicious as leftovers.

All said and done, it was a great day and we're happy that Blake's a part of our family. He's so cute!
