Winona's Visit

For those who don't know, Winona is my best friend from high school. We found each other during our freshman year and were joined at the hip through senior year. In the ensuing 12 years, we've kept in touch and we try to get together when I'm in CA. Finally, it was my turn to host a visit! Winona, her husband, Aaron, and their three adorable boys came for a visit a few days after Grant's birthday. We had a great time! The kids all got along, and of course I still love Winona to death! It was such a treat to spend so much time together after all these years. If we lived close to each other, we would still totally hang out!! Here's a few pics from the visit:

The first day, we took all the kids, plus Winona's mom, and Aaron's nephew into DC to see the monuments. The kids were thrilled to cool their feet in the WWII Memorial after a long hot day of site-seeing. They were all so well-behaved! Seriously, seven boys under the age of seven spending five hours walking around DC? Who knew?
