All Caught Up

Day 47 We love 24. And the Burdicks love 24. We had them over to watch an episode and of course, gather around the laptop to read Dave Barry's real-time blog about the episode. Hilarious! Travis won the "guess how many times Jack Bauer says 'copy that'" game. We also counted the number of 'guilty Renee moments' and dead guys. Awesome!

Day 48 Our phones died, so that meant a trip to Best Buy. We didn't get a phone there, but Blake and Hayden were mesmerized by "The Blob".

Day 49 Trying on Daddy's shoes.

Day 50 Do you have a lazy susan? Have you ever had something drop off in the back and you have to risk life and limb to squeeze back there to get it? Travis rescues the press-n-seal.

Day 51 Friday Lunch Dates. We've been meeting for lunch of Fridays for the past month. We don't have to get a sitter and it's a fun end to the week. This week we tried Bamboo, a Japanese restaurant. Trav ordered the sushi. I tried some, but I decided to stick with my teriyaki beef and avacado rolls.

Day 52 Grant and Blake love playing together. They were running around the kitchen chasing each other, taking turns being the dinosaur. I had them stop long enough for this 'we love each other' picture.

Day 53 Fort! Travis and I were home sick with colds on Sunday. I built the boys a fort in the kitchen to keep them occupied. They loved it and were determined to make it a 'house fort'. They moved all their favorite things into it: all the planet heroes, the musical instruments, a pretend tv, and a pretend radio. It was awesome.

Day 54 The floods came up! Family night was great this week. The boys had so much fun learning scripture stories, that we did two. Everyone really got into the wise man and the foolish man.

Day 55 Bedtime chic. Rainboots are all the rage at the Hobbs house. Blake especially loves to wear them to bed.

Day 56 We love hoodies. Maybe we just love saying the word hoodie?

Okay, that's it. Now for a short-term goal. I will post the pictures on time for the next week!

Keep up the great job as mommy and homemaker, and thanks for all the fun and silly things you share on your blog. We love it!
