Winona

Many of you know my best friend Winona from high school. She's had a hard pregnancy with her twin boys this year. Winona's been on bed rest since 15 weeks when they found out she had Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome. Winona came down with a fever and they delivered the boys by c-section on Oct 8th. Garrett was born at 6lbs 2oz and Grant was 5lbs 4oz. They did have twin to twin transfusion syndrome and Garrett needed his blood thinned out and Grant needed transfusions, but both seemed fine. Winona came home last Friday and Garrett was supposed to come home on Saturday.

Sadly, both babies got very sick on Saturday and Sunday. They both have meningitis and are very ill. Neither are intubated, but both are very sick. They are waiting for them to respond & fight off the sickness. In the best case scenario, they will be in the hospital for months. She asked me to get the word out to my family for your prayers. They've had such a long road and are very worried for the boys.

Erica is putting their names in Oregon, California, Hawaii and Washington. I'm calling the temples in the East. Please put the boys' names in your local temple and keep them in your prayers.
