Melanie outside of Pink's. We saw a special about this joint on the Food Network. The hot dogs there were not nearly as good as DC's own "Ben's Chili Bowl".


Eating Hot Dogs. I ordered the "Olympic Rings Dog" which had onion rings and BBQ sauce and Melanie ordered the "Martha Stewart" which had bacon, sour cream, tomatoes, sauerkraut and lettuce. We joked that Martha should change her recipe.

Melanie kept reminding me that her nail polish is called "Keep Away from Heat and Children".

Melanie and I took advantage of Grandma and Uncle Peter and Aunt Erica for a couple of days to go a-touring in LA. We stopped along the way to visit Melanie's good friend Winona, who lives in La Conchita. She had twins not too long ago and they're adorable. It was fun to visit with them. We then headed to Hollywood to eat at Pink's and see the "Walk of Fame". Melanie booked us at a nice hotel near Newport Beach (not too far from the Newport Beach temple). Later that evening, we walked along the beach and went to see Batman at the theaters.
