Here comes Peter Cottontail...

Grant and Blake will have an awesome Easter surprise in the morning!
Hayden gets cool stuff too! Pacifiers with chinese characters, froggie wash cloths from G-ma Welsh, and the Martha booties.

Grant and Blake LOVED dyeing eggs today. They could have stayed there forever playing with the colors. Blake was into stirring the eggs forever in their cups...we had to switch out the eggs when he wasn't looking. Meanwhile, Grant was all about getting the eggs in and out as quickly as possible. By the time we had finished, Blake's hands were two different colors, a cup of red dye had spilled on the floor, and Grant was crying because he wanted an egg hunt right now. After scouring the floor, Travis distracted them with a bath and I cleaned up the last of the mess. Overall, it was a good experience and Grant is looking forward to a big hunt in the morning!

We need a speedy hunt in the morning because we've been invited to brunch at 9am and then we've got church at 11. We're having the Burdicks over for an Easter feast at 5pm. Travis and I already made our scalloped potatoes and breadmaker rolls. I'm attempting my first ham tomorrow with asparagus and green bean casserole. Should be a great Easter! We'll be sure to add to the pictures tomorrow night. We love you all!

  1. You guys are always so busy. Brunch???? Wow! and then dinner to follow. The boys will look cute all decked out in their new duds. The Easter Egg festivities looked like a lot of work to me, but I'm sure the boys loved it.

  2. Happy Easter. We spend the day watching the 10 commandments. What a long long long movie!
