11 Months Old!

Cosette is 11 months old! (Well really, she's a year now, but let's look back a bit.) Anyway, this month has been GREAT for Cosey. Tubes have been such a blessing. Cosette is so much happier. We've said goodbye to the evening fussiness and hello to more independence in the last month. She's happier all around and plays by herself for long stretches.

Of course this month also finally brought the advent of teething. Cosette got the weirdest first tooth ever: top right. She's our little snaggletooth! She's was pretty fussy as it came through: not eating much and wanting to be held all the time. Oh well.

Cosette still LOVES to blow raspberries and is babbling even more! She waves hi and says hi when she's in the right mood. She has also mastered feeding herself and loves to eat oatmeal, yogurt, applesauce, hot dogs, and tortellini. She's also really great at making messes with her snacks: getting food on the walls, table and floor whenever she eats.

Cosey's building her confidence around the house. She plays on the stairs and will go up a couple steps, but is too afraid to go any higher. She cruises along furniture, but won't let go and venture out on her own yet. She loves her family: she lights up when Travis comes home, plays with the boys, and hates to be left alone.

Sleep-wise, Cosette is so much better now. She's sleeping through the night and taking at least one long nap a day. She won't drink a bottle much, only a few ounces at bedtime usually. She's way too grown up for that.

She loves to play with toys lately. Her favorites are her ride-on car she got as an early birthday present, and anything that makes noise, especially chiming/bell sounds. She's at the stage where she puts things in and out of boxes, bags, and laundry baskets. And she loves throwing things on the floor.

Cosette loves dressing up, her favorite color is still pink. She likes wearing shoes, leggings, and leg warmers. She's all about accessories. Love that Cosey!
