Jumping on the big bouncy pumpkin.We took the kiddos to a farm to pick strawberries yesterday. It was a hot day, but the kids had a lot of fun. First on the agenda was picking strawberries. We rode in a cart pulled by a tractor to the fields. Grant loved picking strawberries. Well, he loved to put as many as he could in his basket, neither would eat any. Blake didn't like it so much. He stood around and whined until Dad lifted him up on his shoulders. When we were ready to leave the fields, we surprisingly ran into Melanie's old college roommate who now lives here in Virginia too.
After eating lunch we went to the petting zoo, where Grant and Blake loved petting and feeding the goats. The farm also had the giant orange Bounce-house that Grant especially loved. It was a fun day!
That looks like lots of fun. I think all of our strawberry stands are pretty much closed now.. started getting too hot. But guess what? I have cherry tomatoes growing on my vine! Little baby tomatoes! Isn't that great??
