I can now officially read Harry Potter. I just finished reading the Life of Pi (Melanie has already finished reading both books). This is a fascinating story about how a boy survives after being shipwrecked and forced to inhabit a lifeboat with a tiger, a hyena, an orangutan and a zebra. The concept sounds pretty unbelievable, but I think the author pulls it off quite well.

I'm glad someone else has read this book too. I really enjoyed it. The end is a bit wierd, as you know, but I really did enjoy the book for the most part. It's interesting how someone can change a story for the better. I liked it though. Good choice!!
