Creepy bowed cemetary thingEdgar Allen Poe
After Fort McHenry, we took a quick ride to downtown Baltimore to visit Edgar Allen Poe's grave. He's buried close to the Inner Harbor in a rather creepy cemetary. The kids loved wandering on the brick path through the gravestones. Apparently, Poe was buried in one place in the cemetary and then moved to another location there. Also buried there was McHenry, as in Fort McHenry. One more cool thing checked off our list of cool things left to do in the D.C. area.
