Book Reveiw --- Uncle Tom's Cabin

I started this book when I was up in Syracuse then I lost track of it, and finally picked it up again a couple of days ago. As you know this book is about slavery. It follows the story of one slave sold from a plantation in Kentucky to another one further south and another story about a slave who learns she is about to be sold and runs away to Canada. Harriett Beecher Stowe says that all of the experiences that happened in her book were true stories, which makes the book more remarkable. It's amazing to hear just how evil slavery was from personal stories and how quickly the slave-owners rationalized them away. This is a must read, if anyone's interested.
