Grant Got Baptized!

How cute is Grant? I can't believe he's 8!! We were so excited for his baptism last weekend. 

Grandma Joy, Grandma and Grandpa Welsh, and Grandma and Grandpa Hobbs all made the trip for Grant's big day. We took lots of pictures (too bad they all have a weird sun glare in them). 

  Wow! Our family of six! Regan and the boys sang for everyone at the baptism. It was adorable. Regan has such a beautiful voice.

I had Grant draw the picture for the front of his baptism program. He forgot to give Travis pants. hehe 

Here they are, all ready to go! Grant did awesome when it was time to go int he water. He had to be dunked twice, since his hand didn't go under the first time. Of course Hayden yelled out while giggling: "He's doing it again!" on the second try. And then Blake blurted "You did it!!!" when we got the okay the 2nd time. Oh yeah, that's a Hobbs baptism. Both the Grandpa's spoke at the baptism and my mom led the music. Fiona played for us and we had a lot of friends there. It was great that everyone could take part. We were also excited to see our neighbors and Grant's teacher there. 

And then we ate!! Thank you to Costco for the after-party cake. And for refreshments at the baptism, we had a lot of help too! Everything was so bright and colorful, and delicious!

 After the baptism was over, we had the boys and Regan do an encore of their song so we could record it. They were a bit calmer during the first performance (thank goodness), cuz they get a little crazy this time around:
